HOW IT WORKS

Hi guys welcome to Pickaparty! If you are new here, we would like to offer a little breakdown of how things work during live sales so you can start off your toy journey smoothly!

LIVE SALES

1. Joining the live sales

We do live sales on YouTube (@Pickaparty) most weekday nights (7:00pm - 1:00am) and every weekend (9:00am - 3:00pm). It is free for anyone to join and is family-friendly! Subscribing to our YouTube channel will give you notifications as to when we are currently live.

2. Claiming items

During the live sale, if you see any items Carla is showing that you would like to own, you can claim them in the chat by letting Carla know. You can say: 'Claim one' or 'I'll take two' or something similar, letting Carla know to put one aside for you.

If you wanted something other than what Carla is currently showing, that is perfectly fine! You can order anything from this website and it will be opened for you when it's your turn.

3. Sending payment

After you have claimed an item, we will need payment proof before we can open it or put it in your order box. You can send by buying directly from the website or you can send using one of these payment apps:

  • Cashapp (Pickaparty)
  • Venmo (Pickaparty) 
  • Zelle (pickaparty@outlook.com)

Carla will always confirm that your payment was received before opening.

4. Opening items

After payment is received you can choose to have your items opened immediately or to be placed in your item box closed; simply say 'Open' or 'Closed' in the YouTube chat. 

5. Trading items

If you have a duplicate item or are looking for another option, you have to ability to offer your item up for trade for fellow viewers. We usually have many other people watching, giving you a great opportunity to get the item you desire. Simply let Carla know by saying 'Trade' in the chat.

If somebody elects to buy your item, it will no longer be yours and will be placed in their order box. You will get another opportunity to open the same type of blind bag. This process can repeat as long as people are willing to buy your unwanted items. If nobody wants to purchase your item, it will be placed in your order box. You still have another chance to trade once it is in your order box - we have a trading section in our Discord Channel (Pickaparty) where you can find a trading partner. Let Carla or Grammy know if you find a trade partner and we will put your item in their box.

Likewise, with people having the option to buy your unwanted items, you can buy other people's items. Let Carla know, when an item is up for trade if you want to claim it and be placed in your order box. (You can use the same payment apps as listed above.)

6. Closing Orders

Once opened, you can leave your order box open as long as you want - freely adding to it during any subsequent live sales until you want it to be shipped.

  • If you have ordered items from the website directly then we will have your address to ship it to you as well as payment for shipping. All you have to do is let us know that you want it closed and shipped by sending us a message.
  • If you have ordered items only using the payment apps then filling out a shipping label is required. Once filled out, put your name in the Discord section called 'Who wants their order packed'. This will put you on the list for the next shipping day.

7. Packing Orders

We ship oders during a YouTube live every Wednesday and Friday afternoons (11am - 4:30pm). Feel free to tune in to watch your order get packed or you can have everything be shipped without you being there - just let us know in the Discord. 

We like to ship order on live so that you can double check that everything is correct with your order or if you would like to add any last minute items to your package.

Another way to support us is through YouTube Membership. This is a function where, for a monthly fee, gain access to special rewards depending on your tier level.

1. How to gain Membership

  1. Visit youtube.com or open the YouTube app.
  2. Go to our YouTube channel: @Pickaparty.
  3. Select Join.
  4. Follow the instructions to enter your payment info.
